While the guys’ Argentina 2 team of Leo Aveiro, Fabrizio Satriano, Sebastian Fernandez, and Ramiro Nuñez took gold to defeat tournament favorites in the United States, the ladies needed to accept silver.
Troy Field and siblings Riley, Maddison, and Jameson McKibbin appeared to be heading for a 2d successive series win as they cruised via the primary set 15-10.
However, the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz champions couldn’t see off the hosts and, after edging a good second, set it to become the Argentine squad who triumphed, recording a ten-15, 20-18, 15-11 victory.
