Two seashores in the Karasu district of the northwestern Turkish province of Sakarya presented the blue flag tag — a global label denoting excessive standards of cleanliness, pristine waters, and different parameters.
Ekrem Yüce, the metropolitan municipality mayor of Sakarya, instructed Anadolu Agency that he will now attempt to get blue flag certificates for Kocaali and Kaynarca seashores as well.
“Necessary steps can be taken to get the global certification,” he said.
Yüce said that while Karasu on the Black Sea coast is already a famous visitor vacation spot, he hopes the certification will also grow the site visitors.
Besides pristine waters and cleanliness alongside the shorelines, Yüce said different standards helped the two beaches get the tag: blanketed life shield groups, disabled-friendly centers, and environmentally pleasant measures.
The mayor stated that almost ninety of the Karasu population consists of non-neighborhood vacationers at some stage in the summertime because of its proximity to the metropolitan cities of Istanbul, Ankara, and Bursa.
